How we use AI — and where we do not
We advise organizations on governance and assurance, including AI management under ISO/IEC 42001. The same standard applies to our own communication: where AI supports our work, we say so, and a named person remains accountable for what is published.
AI-assisted visuals
Several illustrative images on this website — including the hero, platform detail, control room and closing visuals — are AI-generated illustrations. They are stylistic representations of offshore environments. They are not documentary photographs, they do not depict real installations, real events or identifiable persons, and they are not evidence of any specific project.
AI-assisted drafting
Generative AI tools are used as a drafting aid for parts of this website's text and for internal document layouts. Every published statement is reviewed, edited and substantively approved by Jan Schuboth before publication. Editorial responsibility rests with a natural person, not with a model.
Document generation
Quotes, order confirmations, timesheets and invoices in our client portal are generated from structured data entered and verified by us. They are deterministic documents, not model output.
What we do not do
This website operates no chatbot or conversational agent, no emotion recognition, no biometric categorisation, and no deepfakes. No automated decision-making is applied to visitors, applicants or clients, and client data is not used to train third-party models.
Our commitments
Human editorial control is the control that matters.
Transparency is only credible when it is backed by a process. Ours is deliberately simple, documented, and applied to every piece of published content.
- No AI output is published without human review and approval.
- AI-generated illustrations are declared as such and never presented as documentary evidence.
- Synthetic visuals carry machine-readable provenance information on this page.
- Personal data of clients, candidates and visitors is not submitted to generative AI systems.
- AI use is reviewed whenever a new tool or a new content type is introduced.
Regulatory context
Article 50 EU AI Act
Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) applies from 2 August 2026. It obliges providers of AI systems to disclose direct interaction with an AI system and to apply machine-readable marking to synthetic content, and it obliges deployers to disclose deepfakes as well as AI-generated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest without human editorial control.
This website contains no interactive AI system, no deepfake, and no unreviewed AI-generated public-interest text. The visuals used here are declared above as AI-generated illustrations and carry machine-readable provenance metadata on this page, and all textual content is under human editorial control. We publish this statement voluntarily, going beyond what Article 50 requires of us.
